The following terms and conditions apply for the use of the New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters website. Please read the information below carefully.
Secure shopping
The New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters (NZSTI) is conscious of the need for privacy and security for your internet shopping experience.
This website uses sophisticated encryption technology. This means at the checkout, the servers used by NZSTI and your PC encrypt everything that you enter into your computer, such as credit card details, billing and delivery address. Because it is encrypted, other computers are unable to make sense of it, therefore keeping this information private.
The NZSTI website has secure processes built into the online store, specifically:
- Every order has a unique number
- Every order is logged in a robust database
- All your payment details can only be retrieved by NZSTI in an encrypted session
- Confirmation emails of your order are sent to you the customer/NZSTI member
Email policy
We only email you if you want us to. We do not send unsolicited emails. We do not disclose your email address to third parties unless you are a Full Member or Affiliate of NZSTI and choose to be listed in the NZSTI directory.
Every email message we send includes an email address to which you can respond. If at any time you decide you do not want to receive our emails, simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message. This will remove your email address from our mailing list. If you unsubscribe you will still receive emails specifically related to your online orders.
Delivery policy
For deliveries within New Zealand, delivery charges are included in the prices of all items advertised on the website. NZSTI does not deliver outside New Zealand, although overseas orders may still be placed with a New Zealand delivery address.
Delivery of physical goods usually takes place within 20 working days. If the item ordered is out of stock, you will be notified of the expected additional delay. Deliveries are made by courier or ordinary mail as appropriate.
Cancellation policy
Once an order has been made, you cannot cancel it unless the product is no longer available.
Refund policy
NZSTI does not offer any refund or credit once a product has been paid for unless the product is no longer available. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered into the system.
Pricing policy
All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
