Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha - University of Canterbury 

The 2026 NZSTI Conference will take place at the University of Canterbury in the Rehua building.

The campus is well serviced by public transport, with several regular bus routes running along Ilam Road and Riccarton Road and stopping close to campus buildings. Taxis and rideshares are also readily available from the city centre and Christchurch Airport.

Paid parking is available across the University of Canterbury campus, with a mix of pay-by-plate and app-based parking areas. Parking availability can vary during weekdays, so attendees are encouraged to allow extra time or consider public transport where possible. Limited mobility parking spaces are available near main buildings for those who require them.

The University of Canterbury campus is largely flat and accessible, with step-free access to most buildings, accessible toilets, and clearly marked pathways. Detailed accessibility maps and support information are available through the university for attendees who may need additional assistance.
