Interpreting New Zealand

Interpreting New Zealand was established in 1993 as the first comprehensive interpreting service in the country. Initially, we provided onsite interpreters, and in 1997, we expanded our services to include telephone interpreting. In response to
increased demand, we established a permanent branch in Christchurch, Canterbury, and currently have coordinators and face-to-face services in Auckland, Dunedin, Nelson, and Blenheim. We provide and train community interpreters and advocate for the rights and needs of interpreters and speakers of languages
other than English.
