Accommodation
The 2026 NZSTI Conference will be held at the University of Canterbury in Ilam, approximately 15 minutes from Christchurch Airport and 15–20 minutes from the central city. Attendees are welcome to stay wherever best suits their needs, with accommodation available both near the university and in the Christchurch CBD.
Many conference delegates choose to stay in the city centre and use public transport, taxis, or rideshare services to travel to the venue each day. Others may prefer accommodation closer to the university campus.

All options are within reasonable travelling distance of the University of Canterbury and Christchurch Airport. We encourage attendees to book early, as September can be a popular time.
