NZSTI is pleased to announce that the national conference will be held in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand, on 7-8 September 2024.
This year's theme, Looking in, Reaching out—Growing the Conversation, highlights the importance of understanding translation and interpreting in a wider context and invites participants to explore and discuss the interconnected and interdependent nature of our professions. We will be focusing on connections and how our surroundings influence both the nature of and approach to our work. We will be looking in and reflecting on our own practices, processes and priorities while reaching out to those we serve and collaborate with.
